In a vast glade, this old ranch is located in confluence of Dufresne and Ouareau fivers, 120 km north from Montreal, at Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci, in Lanaudière. You are received in the "visitor’s house", a log cabin with one suite and two rooms (private bathrooms) where kitchen, dinning room, foyer, sauna, music lounge/gallery, large covered area are at your disposal. Appaloosa is open all year, meal’s reservation on demand. A choice of the season’s activities are possible : - on estate : beach, canoe, pedal boat, snowshoeing, fish, outdoor games, paths botanical. - nearby : snowmobile, (Trans-Quebec 43 path with its suspension bridge), quad, alpine skiing (4 resorts), ski touring, dog sledding, ice asphalt and dirt driving, ethno-cultural center, golf, horse-riding, fishing, hunting, sugar shack...
