Founded in 1967, the Camp musical Père Lindsay was born of passion and desire—the passion for music and a desire to share that passion. Helping kids discover music is the heart and soul of Father Fernand Lindsay’s philosophy, the Camp’s founder and director.This non-profit music camp allows young musicians aged 9 to 16 years to broaden their horizons and to work in a fun atmosphere, exploring and sharing the various facets of the world of music in a truly enchanting environment. The Camp’s mission is simple: entice youngsters to play and appreciate music. The music camp strives to give young musicians a well-rounded vision of music by allowing them to reach beyond the standard repertory of the instrument they play. The formula Father Lindsay developed has remained essentially the same over the years: the kids certainly enjoy their stay because they leave the camp enthused and promising to come back—which is something many of them do.
