In the 19th century, the port of Québec became one of the 5 most important ports in the world. Located next to the bassin Louise, the interpretation centre evokes the exciting atmosphere of Québec, gateway to North America. Exhibitions relating to timber trade and shipbuilding are presented. Interpretative and animation activities, guided tours , characters in period costumes, audio-visual presentations and a guided walking tour of the Old Port (60 minutes). Concerning schedule call (418) 648-3300. Admission : adults: $3; students (17 and over) and seniors: $2.25; children 6 to 16: $2; family rate: $7.
