The parc de l'Amérique-Latine , home to monument Simon-Bolivar , presented by the government of Venezuela to the Québec people in 1983, marking the 200th birthday of the man who liberated six Latin American countries. In the same park, look for the monument to José Marti which was donated by the Cuban Government. Also look for a commemorative marker on "Inter-American Organization for Higher Education in Québec City"
