Clermont’s Montagne de la Croix is a beautiful lookout and interpretation site situated between the St. Lawrence River and the backcountry. Its lookout provides a sweeping view of the town of Clermont, the valley of Rivière Malbaie, the vast Charlevoix backcountry, and on a clear day, the St. Lawrence and the South Shore. Information panels at the site tell visitors about Clermont and the surrounding area as well as the history of the region and the site.
