3 ways to personalised your itinerary!

1) Mark the desired locations:

  • Click the yellow line and a step marker will be added. Move it to the desired location and the itinerary will adapt.
  • The directions are grouped by step.
  • To delete a marker, click it with the mouse right button.

2) Specify the trail types priorities:

Display the options then specify the priorities for the 3 trail types (Trans-Québec, regional et local) to be considered for the proposed itinerary.
  • If the 3 trail types priorities are identical, the proposed itinerary will be the shortest.
  • The itinerary is optimized according to your priorities while taking into account the additionnal distance involved.
EXAMPLE: If the regional trails are far away from your itinerary but you have assigned this type with:
    • a much higher priority, the trail sections of that type will be preferred over the others even if there are further away or longer. The itinerary distance could then be longer.
    • a priority slighty higher, the regional trail close to the itinerary will be chosen but no important detour to take them will be proposed.
  • Besides specifiing the priority by trail type, you can force the itinerary to go through specific locations by also using the first way described.

3) Adjust the speed to calculate the duration with precision

  • Adjust the average speed in order to get a more realist estimate of your ride duration. Take in account your driving style and the trail particularities (eg. circulation, montainous terrain, trail conditions, etc.).
  • Select the favorite mesure unit: kilometer or mile.
